Cookies!
I am so proud of my own cookies that I am thinking of setting up an online shop to take in orders.
Thanks to all my guinea pigs (hubby, friends, colleagues) who are so encouraging and nice!
i am improving from batch to batch! *GRIN*
See the difference/improvement!
2nd attempt, compared to the top (which is my 4th). I made it less sweet, influenced by my mentor who gave me the recipe! and it's easy to make!
It's not chewy but crispy and nice! Heheh... love! I am trying the next one again! I need some to satisfy my own cravings. haha.

Dinner for my family
I cooked again! I use the same ingredients and cooked in different way.... I am sooooo talented in searching for recipes online!
Tadah! My crispy fried prawns:

I absolutely adore this but it's too expensive to order at cze cha stores =(
My version is 100% sincerity + 100% appearance (I swear it looks good and crispy). But taste only 50%, kinda too salty, too much salt. Should have use soy sauce.
Garlic rice:

My mum requested for it specially. How can I not cook for her! But too oily. Sad.
Pan-fried salmon and huang wen Yong's chicken wings

I followed the 超省时生活 and used 炸鸡粉. I guess I used too much and didn't use lemon soda beer (where to find??? Is it jolly shandy?)
For the chicken wing, I tweaked huang wen Yong's recipe. It turn out fine.
I hope I can cook fantabulous food one day!
The worst thing is to clean up! And the poor person is my bf. Thanks baby!

My baguettes!
I baked it finally!

Got feel or not!

It looks ugly in the photo but it's quite not bad.
The problem lies in the oven - Uneven Heat!
It's not tough, you can google youtube for the 10 min baguette. A lot of waiting time. I decided the next two thing I wanna make and I hope it will succeed!

Baking Kuih baulu
I was inspired to do some baking but I wanna do something not pineapple tarts.
So seeing this at supermart:

I Definitely have to bake this! It's my favourite.
I bought the ribbon from daiso! It's too cute to resist...

Conclusion: it's too hard to maintain the same consistent appearance. I baked three batches and they turned out different.

Batch 1: too light

Batch 2: uneven

Batch 3: too dark.
I found the batter a lil' too sweet. But it's crisp outside and soft inside. Yummy when it's hot!
But overall it's a success I guess when the food is edible.. *a pat on my shoulder*
