Pressie for my bestie

with some anxiety, i passed the box to my bestie.

Coz actually I am not a give-gift-and-treats person. Everytime I wanna treat, we end up going dutch. Everytime I wanna buy a gift for someone, I ended up buying nothing with only worries that I get rejected or the person don't like. Something like the hdd I bought for my sisters. The pink one was sold and the owner with the red one wanna get a refund for the hdd because it wasn't compatible with her lao kok kok desktop. I am still pretty sad over this.

Okay back to my point. Actually this time round, I was on the verge of giving up. The 2009 schedule book was bought for weeks but I still have no idea how to give it to her. I actually stood at the shop for quite sometime thinking if I should buy or not (she may have bought hers) and thinking which design she will like.

After I bought the book, I thought of ways to make the gift more surprising. Mail it? Go personally to her house to give her (coz I dun have her addy)? meet her?

Had this idea of putting a stalk of tulip (her fav) in an envelope with the book to mail her but atlas, never had the time to find/buy.

Finally will get to meet her at the bbq. So brought the book with me to Tampines Mall. Went to a florist but they looked at me bewildered. I thought this isn't the right season for tulips and I won't find a stalk of tulip ever! Luckily we finally found at xpressflower.

Then come another decision: what color and how many? I dunno her fav color so I looked at the chart and pink was the choice. Not only it's sweet enough, it stands for "caring" actually. Finally then buy a box for it too and tadah,
Glad she like it and she haven't buy hers yet.

I also bought a japanese doll keychain for nicole dear. hope she likes it too.

During this period of shopping around in TM, I was on the verge of giving up buying and assembling everything. I went to hallmark many many times before I bought the keychain and box. If not for the constant encouragement from my dearest, the schedule book will still remain in my bed!
