Usage of brain getting smaller..

I am getting stupid as the day goes...

I happily went to reset my old K800i to factory setting and sold it off for $130. Pretty happy coz the trade-in value is only $60 at Singtel plus the back of it was almost gone.

After I transfer my contacts from SIM to my new phone, I found rubbish in the contact lists. I only have contacts like "ICC-Indonesia, Voicemail, Cus Svc...". The only 2 human contacts are Jho and tcl (my 2 bosses at work) which I saved in SIM then.

Very FUNNY. That's how I lost all my contacts. So friends, please drop me an sms with your name. Gladly appreciate.

I tried to save those familar numbers into the phone, believing I still have the great memory of remembering numbers easily. Then I stunned. I can't... do... it... at all! I can't even remember my sister, father, mother HP no! And I forgotten Ms Chua, Ms Chew's home and Ms Tang's HP!!!! MEMORY BLOCK!!! I think I need some brain tonic.

We took about 2 hours plus q-ing up... Some freebies were given out... Mineral water, chips and this:
to act as a fan. I thought it was mousepad though. They even give out toast and curry puff! We din get any though it smell pretty nice.

Here's our takeaways from the queue.
I wasn't supposed to get mine until 30 Aug. But I just asked politely if I can sign for one as well. And the person said yes. Thinking that I couldn't bear to suffer for another round of q-ing up, I decided to sign for one myself.

I got myself a 16GB white one and mr tan got the black one. This is really my impulse buy! It is still chio but not that fantastic. I saw a lady holding on to Samsung Omnia and it looks pretty chio as well. Can't regret anymore. As this is a "special" offer, the terms are:
- hold this phone for 2 years (no more 12 or 21 months upgrade)
- penalty of $800
- monthly subscription bills increase to 60 over bucks

Of coz, she is the best model for camera shots.

Some things I really hate about Iphone:
- A LOT OF RESEARCH to do; perhaps I am no tech geek, I have to search and read forums for answers to how to convert movies to the right format, how to sync it into the phone, blah blah blah..
- a lot of exploration to do: have to go into the phone to explore for typing chinese, sync sim contacts, setting wi-fi etc..
- resetting the phone to master setting takes 2 freaking hours! despite I just bought the phone.
- Then have to restore it from my back-up from itunes.
- I have to sync the same musics in my Ipod Shuffle into my phone coz I am lazy to change here and there. So.. what am I supposed to do with my Shuffle now?
- I haven't figure out how to log in ibanking because it requires applet.

BUT finally, I love it abit more because I can watch dramas from my phone already (just have to go thru the troublesome process to convert to the right format), I saved some contacts in as well. And pics, I can surf net using my home's maxonline.
