Say with me "Rat.a.too.e"! *click the image to link to the trailers*
Yes, a going-to-bum woman cannot watch movie but glad her boy is still working! And I am sooo glad we watch this movie! Hug!!! This is the 2nd time I watch a movie with darling without knowing what it is about (the first was death-note). And the result was great! Think next time I shall leave the movie choice to him!
If I am a critic, I would give very high rating to this movie. It is ridiculous for a rat to dream, what's more he became a cook! But a dream is never too big, not even for a rat!
Rat remy, coward Linguini, funny emile, dark Anton the Grim-Eater (food critic), treacherous I-forgot-his-name, not forgetting the poor health inspector who got abducted by Team Delta!
The pace of the movie was fantastic. I hate draggy shows but this was never one. On top of the humor built up in the show, the moral values are worth the mention. Of all, the greatest was "Anyone can cook". That's what build up the story right?
The story also contains some logical elements to some extent. Guteax is only a figment of Remy's imagination, not some spirit floating around after his death. The bad guys can't disappear forever after being abducted. And rat infestion do close down the restaurant. And rat can't talk to human, unlike some other shows that rat can actually converse in human language.
The details of the animation were impressive too! The romantic-ness of Paris! Ahhh, make me so feel wanna fly there immediately to see the night of Paris! After watching the movie, I regret not taking up French! Haha.
And at some point in time, I thought I was watching some horrors with the figment of Remy's imagination (i.e. Guteaux) popping out at a few moments appropriately. He never fails to make me jump from my chair! Guess my guts getting smaller.
Even rewatching the trailers, I still find the movie interesting! The only regret I have for this show is probably watching the movie at peak hour. Please avoid children's crowd to prevent not-so-pleasant movie experience.
Be sure to check this out for more Ratatouille works! And in the meantime, I am trying out the game demo of Ratatouille. Heh.
