After 2.5 weeks of rest (vacation + mc)... going back to work! I can't imagine months later after four months of maternity, the feeling will be even more overwhelming!
Bb decided to give me a "present" before work, worsening the blues - vomiting sourish gastric juices despite dinner. Now I am dreading eating all the supplements before sleeping!
Anyway, I hid for the last 2.5 weeks. No work, only rest, not even switching on personal laptop.. Just me and ipad and TV.. For the lil one, I even carry my moo moo around to sandwich in between Ipad and tummy to block off radiation.
I can't help but feel so glad that I am off from work. Gynae said between week 8 to 10, the symptoms will be alot more prominent and drew me the graph. Indeed, I felt like a zombie most of the time, nauseated. There are mornings when I woke up, forced myself to drink milo and eat crackers and thereafter just sat on my sofa doing nothing but wait for the next feeding time. I have no appetite and lost 1.5 kg during that period. Although I still feel that I am alot more fortunate compared to most others with worse symptoms and lost much more weight than me, I really can't imagine having to take up the challenge at work at that period of time.
I forced myself to go back to my mum's place on Thurs morning and stayed there for next four days. Oh boy, I regret not doing that earlier. It's just that I had to sleep on my lousy sofa bed with environment that caused my allergies (and my hubby's too). But my mum and dad took care of my diet, I have nice homecooked food for lunch and dinner. I can pop downstairs to buy snacks, amenities are all nearby. Nana accompanied me throughout the day! I have some trainings as well helping my mum to take care of the kids (just cannot carry the bb due to pantang). Time passed much faster. Even when hubby overslept during weekends, I can still pin on my parents to buy me food. hehehe. How I missed my old place. Now just waiting for my sis to move out and change the bed in her room wahahhaa. coz due to pantang reason, cannot change mine. Then I can go back more often!
